During the Autumn term Reception, Year 1 and Year 2's topic has been Homes and buildings.
We went on a trip to Tamworth Castle to find out about life living in a castle.

Here are some pictures of what we got up to!!!

Meeting the servants and then 'M'Lady'- we had to bow and curtsey every time M'lady came in or went out of the room!

The servant taught us how to lay a table for the Lord and Lady. Then the Lady came to inspect it.

Lady dressed us up 'properly' - we weren't too keen!!!

After lunch we played with some of the toys that the children of the castle would have played with.

A final trip to the dungeons.

Visiting Castles is very exhausting!!
